Realise their own value and strengths, what makes them and other people happy and be celebrated for who they are
Teaching about mental wellbeing is a priority for our pupil’s present and future happiness. Children and young people are increasingly experiencing challenges and pupils with special needs are at particular risk of feeling isolated and undervalued in society. At Fordwater school, we recognise Pupil Wellbeing as a priority, so have made it one of our 10 Curriculum Aims.
This aim enables us to support our pupils’ wellbeing through the teaching of positive wellbeing strategies so they can become happy and successful and achieve their own goals.
