School Council

Our school council is made up of a representative from each class in the Secondary School and the Further Education Department, who meet every half term with the school council co-ordinator and school governor to discuss issues of importance to the school and students.

The School Council provides an opportunity for students to raise issues such as getting more activities on the playground, how to achieve greater interaction on the playground, and increasing the use of the pond garden.

The Council are also present at the Eco-Schools Committee. Fordwater School is currently working towards achieving Green Flag Status and is working on the Energy and Waste aspect of this award.
